Dear Global Arts Plus Upper Campus Community,
I am pleased to share with you that I have selected a new leader for Global Arts Plus Upper Campus. Please join me in welcoming Lesly Gámez as your school’s principal beginning in the 2025-26 school year.
Principal Gámez is currently the Assistant Director of Educational Services at South St. Paul Public Schools and has a wealth of experience within Saint Paul Public Schools, as well. She served as a Learning Lead at Hazel Park Preparatory Academy from 2019-21, a Peer Assistance and Review Coach within the Office of Teaching and Learning from 2017-2019, and nine years as a teacher at Adams Spanish Immersion and Paul and Sheila Wellstone Elementary.
Principal Gámez has an Ed. S. degree in School Administration from Concordia University, Master's degrees from the University of St. Thomas and Hamline University, a Bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College and is currently progressing towards her Doctorate in Culture and teaching.

Estimada comunidad de Global Arts Plus Upper Campus,
Me complace compartir con ustedes la selección de una nueva directora para Global Arts Plus Upper Campus. Acompáñenme en darle la bienvenida a Lesly Gámez como directora de su escuela a partir del año escolar 2025-26.
La directora Gámez es actualmente subdirectora de Servicios Educativos en las Escuelas Públicas de South St. Paul y cuenta con una amplia experiencia en las Escuelas Públicas de Saint Paul. Se desempeñó como Líder de Aprendizaje en la Hazel Park Preparatory Academy de 2019 a 2021, como Asesora de Apoyo y Revisión entre Pares en la Oficina de Enseñanza y Aprendizaje de 2017 a 2019 y durante nueve años fue maestra en Adams Spanish Immersion y en Paul and Sheila Wellstone Elementary.
La directora Gámez tiene una licenciatura en Administración Escolar de la Universidad de Concordia, maestrías de la Universidad de St. Thomas y la Universidad de Hamline, una licenciatura de St. Olaf College y actualmente cursa su doctorado en Cultura y Docencia.
