Dear Global Arts Plus Lower Campus Community,
I am pleased to share with you that I have selected a new leader for Global Arts Plus Lower Campus. Please join me in welcoming Dr. LaKisha Franks as your school’s principal beginning in the 2024-25 school year.
Dr. Franks has spent the last two years as principal at Buder Elementary, part of Ritenour School District near St. Louis. Dr. Franks has 16 years of education experience as a classroom teacher, teacher instruction leader, assistant principal and principal. She holds three education degrees from the University of Missouri St. Louis, plus her Ed.D. from Missouri Baptist University.

As Dr. Morris communicated to the community earlier this year, GAP’s new two principal design will allow each leader to respond more consistently and effectively to student and staff needs, while also giving both leaders the time to focus on the unique strengths and challenges of each campus.
