Miss Kayla

Hello!

My name is Kayla Buchmann (she/her) and I am one of the new DCD Special Education Teachers here at Global Arts Plus. This will be my second year teaching, but my first year in the district! I worked as a paraprofessional for many years at Bridge View School. I grew up in Long Island, NY, and moved here to Minnesota in the Fall of 2018. I received my bachelor's degree in ABS (Academic Behavioral Strategist) at Bethel University in the spring of 2022. I am currently going for my masters degree in Special Education: DCD at Minnesota State University Mankato. 

I live in Downtown St Paul with my wonderful partner and cat, Luna. Outside of teaching, I love going to see musicals, going on outdoor adventures, reading, listening to music, and spending time with my friends and family.
